Nissan juke: small car crossover comes in october 2010

Koln, 7. January 2010 – at the geneva motor show in 2009, nissan showed the study qazana, a very unusually designed, roundish suv. Now the japanese manufacturer announces that the car should go under the name juke in series.

B segment cossover

Nissan arranges the vehicle into the so-called b segment, so in the class of the small cars – that probably wondering many who have seen the pretty rough-acting study. According to nissan, the study is just 4.06 meters long. Anyway, the juke is intended to offer an alternative to the usual b-segment cabinet limousins – similar to the qashqai in the compact class. Nissan positions the juke between the qashqai and the note.

Market start in october 2010

Since the successor of today’s micra should be presented soon, the guess is suggested that the juke is based on its platform. However, this is not like nissan spokeswoman kirsten schmitz told us on demand. If the juke has similarities with the dacia duster, schmitz did not want to say. The use of shares appears quite possible because nissan and the dacia-mother renault are intertwined. In any case, both the successor of today’s micra and the new crossover model give their debut at the geneva motor show, from the 4. Until 14. Marz 2010 is open. Details and more pictures should already be on 10. Will be published in february 2010. Market start is then in october 2010.
